You know I looked at a child today this world calls "nobody".
Laughing at some frosting that got on her nose from a cupcake.
She doesn't know "somebody" yet, and it might be I can suspend her
Disbelief in herself long enough to make a true Shakespearean aside.
In the flesh.
She to one day, perhaps, comment on this "somebody" that needs a "nobody"
Around to catch the reflection of their genius.
She so shiny.
Or allowing her to have a few crumbs falling down from the brioche table.
"Nobody", listen well, my belief is in you to carry this weight
And drag us all from a place of soliloquy
To your aside.
To comment on the way of Someone and expose the truth
You as real to me as the sweet sticky stuff stuck on that laughing mouth.
My nobody, well loved.
